New Air Quality Monitoring in Industrial Estates

As reported recently in the Bangkok Post, new regulations requiring the installation of air quality monitoring devices in power plants are expected to become effective this month.  The regulations require the installation of such devices, costing 3-4 million THB each, in all power plants with capacities of 40 megawatts or more located in industrial estates.  The devices are programmed to send air quality information to industrial estate information centers where the public can track such data.
